Engineered Wood Flooring
Do you love the look of wood floors but are concerned how they will hold up in your home or office? While solid wood flooring is prone to contracting and expanding when coming in contact with moisture and extreme temperatures, engineered wood floors are extremely resistant to expansion and contractions caused by water and temperatures. Engineered wood flooring is also incredibly easy to install, as they can be installed directly over preexisting sub-floors. They can be installed above, below, or on grades, as well.

Engineered wood flooring consists of three to five layers of wood glued together using a cross-grain process. The surface layer is protected using six coats of UV cured, formaldehyde-free, acrylic varnish and Aluminum Oxide crystals to ensure it is protected against the elements. The core layer is made using high-quality wood, while the bottom layer consists of a whole plank of softwood veneer.
Engineered wood flooring is often available in the same species as solid wood flooring including:
- Bamboo
- Santos Mahogany
- Brazilian Cherry
- Brazilian Walnut
- Rosewood
