Engineered Wood Flooring

Engineered wood flooring is also incredibly easy to install, as they can be installed directly over preexisting sub-floors. They can be installed above, below, or on grades, as well.

Engineered wood flooring consists of three to five layers of wood glued together using a cross-grain process. The surface layer is protected using six coats of UV cured, formaldehyde-free, acrylic varnish and Aluminum Oxide crystals to ensure it is protected against the elements. The core layer is made using high-quality wood, while the bottom layer consists of a whole plank of softwood veneer.
